"2016. The original seed of this track was planted during a dark time in my life. I was all alone in this vast landscape we call Earth. Through the thick layers of foggy confusion and malaise, I found a sound that encouraged me to continue travelling on.
2019. I revisited this sound once I found myself in a better state of mind. The atmosphere, the arpeggios, the melodies - it all brought a tear to my eye. I realized I always had the power to persevere, even in my darkest hour.
In a slightly altered state, I presented it to the XX team who reacted with glee. I presented it to my friends, who all reacted with delight. I felt right. The pain was worth it.
Don't you forget me now."
